I am just a wee, sleekit, cow'rin, tim'rous beastie. I built myself and my family a wee bit house, and worked hard to do it. It has cost me mony a weary nibble. I have a wife and children, too. I thought I provided for my family. But all my labour was for nothing! My foresight was vain! Because one day a big bulky farmer turned us all out, ruined my wee bit house, ploughed the land, so that you can't even find where my house was, and went home. I was devastated. I feel so tired, upset and unhappy. Even poor beasties like us maun live! But how? What should I do?

I don't know about the Americans but I think that the British are so generous. Well, to put it blankly: I've been having troubles with my heart. I'm a 16 year old female and in pretty good physical health. My only problem is I love to run, but I can only run for a few moments. My heart starts to hurt like crazy. The pain is indescribable. Sorry I cannot give you any more detail than that. Then a lot of the time when I go to take an extra deep breath, My heart skips a beat. I need advice from parents with SEVERE behavior problems in their children?

I have a 14 year old son who has all his life had emotional problems. he doesn't have a life of "abuse", just something in his genetic makeup.. literally..that made the switch for good and bad behavior not work. I have been told that he has the making of a serial killer and his therapist is having a very hard time dealing with him. I respect his therapist. A wonderful and patient person. All I can say is that you need to be as calm, rational, and unbiased when you talk to management/superiors or when you resign. Don't color your language with slights or judgments about this troublemaker. Be friendly and explain that you did your best and had high hopes for the job. When they ask you specifically about her, try to behave as though you are confused about her whole issue with you and her refusal to come to work. Why don't you tell them that you aren't depressed, but that she simply misunderstood your demeanor. In my experience, I've had people mistakenly think I'm depressed my whole life. Tell them that you've been hearing that your whole life, that you appear depressed, but that it couldn't be further from the truth. Good luck!

Some schools offer both and some only one, so I've just stuck with both. Here's the scoop. This is tearing at me. I'm fairly stable, parents are very very stable (boring even). College degree. I own my own house, and several rentals. Tried to start my own company this summer, and things went from bad to worse. Had to settle w/ former employer to avoid a lawsuit, paying my own medical, working 2 part time jobs now, have tenants who aren't paying all of the sudden. I also think I'm depressed (which could be from the stress). I don't have a job lined up yet in vegas, but told my parents, and they were somewhat surprised, somewhat supportive. I plan to get a property mgr for my rentals, and rent or sell my house. Now I'm having second thoughts. While I'll love the weather a lot more, I just don't know. Today is better. I got my cat some soft chews that reduce stress. I caught him once chewing on trash, but no mess on floor. The fake flowers are still in the closet and not ready to come out yet. ABS light on in a 96 Ford Ranger?

I have a 96 Ford Ranger 3.0 RWD. For the past 4 months or so my ABS light has come on at random, and then turned itself off. For the past 2 months or so it has stayed on consistently. We changed the Speed Sensor on the rear differential, and it didn't fix the problem.. Any suggestions as to where to go from here? I am kneading black food colouring into white fondant icing and it just becomes too wet, so i put icing sugar on it to dry it up again but this seems to counteract the black coulouring and keep it grey/purple and is sticking to the work top when i try to roll it out! 1997 Honda Accord V6 hesitates while in D4?

I bought a 1997 Honda Accord V6 a few months ago, it has 168,000 miles on it automatic transmission. I had a bunch of work done to it, the mechanic said everything was in great shape. The day after I got it back from the mechanic it was stolen & in a high speed chase. We got it back the same day & had to put more work into it (all cosmetic though). Now, after owning the car for about 3 months, I have been able to drive it for the past 3-4 weeks. I have noticed that while I am driving on the freeway in D4 the rpm gauge dances all over the place & it feels like it is hesitating. It doesn't do it all the time & there are no lights flashing, everything else seems to be fine & it drives just fine in all other gears. Any ideas on what could be wrong??

HMO insurance.....what happens if you go to a hospital that's not your site number?

I have HMO, and I have to go the the doctor and hospital that they have on record for my site number, etc.....even if a place takes HMO, i can't go there if it isn't my site number. But if I had an emergency and called 911, the ambulance takes people to a hospital that doesn't even accept HMOs.....if i have a real emergency, I'm gonna call 911, not find a way to get to the other hospital....how does this work - does that mean I HAVE to pay everything out of pocket - is there no way around this??? I am pregnant and labor very fast, if i don't make it to my hospital, 911 would take me there and I can NOT afford birth....god forbid if i needed a c-section.....out of pocket - but i HAVE insurance - they should pay something, right?

Why are diesel trucks / buses / vehicles so freakin dirty?

Every day I come home from work, I see a diesel vehicles belching huge plumes of black smelly soot into the air whenever they change gears or speed up. I saw a bus that had a "this bus uses clean air technology", yet the back was completely covered in black soot. I can't stand getting stuck behind any of them as it almost never fails that they belch black stinky clouds and I have to smell pollution entering my lungs against my will. It comes out so thick, hell even a t-shirt thrown over the exhaust should help at least somewhat. The exhaust even darkens buildings and whatnot next to roads. Why do they allow these things all over the roads in NJ without some sort of fix/filter or at least something?

I have great anxiety when speaking in public. But I could deal with that. The problem is my skin turns extremely red from my chest all the way up to my cheeks (beyond blushing, it takes nearly an hour to go away). My face and neck gets so red that it is ridiculous and is unable to be hidden. The fact that these symptoms are so visible is embarring, which exacerbates the issue; then it becomes a vicious circle. What specific therapy might help this. If none, is there a medication (not anti-anxiety, those have not worked) but any other that might help with this, even just for the time a presentation usually takes. I am a graduate student in psychology, and I feel that these visible symptoms of anxiety will lessen my credibility with fellow students and professors.

I watched this Winnie the pooh DVD when I was a small kid, and I remember this really beautiful song. All right, so I'm on the punt return, punt team, kickoff team, and starting defense as a linebacker. I'm 6'0 and only 145 lbs, but our team is really too small to have like second or third strings, pretty much everyone starts somewhere. This is my first game and I don't know what to expect. Honestly, our defense barely got worked due to the hurricanes we've been having lately, we haven't had very many practices. We also had to go light on hitting because we only have about 20 players and if we lose anyone then we're done. So anyways, tomorrow is our first game and quite frankly I'm pretty nervous about it. I don't want to screw up and miss tackles or something or fail to do my job and have the team hate me because I made us lose our game. It is a preseason game, but still. Well, I think he was, to me, the greatest tenor of his time. He had an incredible voice. I heard some stuff of his from the 70's and 80's and I have never heard a voice like it. To be fair, later in his life, by the time he was singing at football matches, his voice wasn't what it once was, but it was still amazing. Perhaps now he is dead, and the recording companies will want to maximise their profit on this, they will release his greatest popular stuff, and the mes who know him only through his football stuff will get to hear just how incredible he was before then. He certainly did bring opera to the mes. I was raised on his music, my dad being an opera fan, and you could always distinguish his voice over that of any other tenor. My dad was so into him we even had a car sticker with I heart Pavarotti on it. He was a truly gifted man, its a shame he had such a battle before he finally got his release.

Changed my fuel filter, car won't start?

i've bought 2 fuel filters for my 1990 honda civic, the first one i couldn't stop the leak, so the 2nd one i made everything was ok ( the 2 copper rings, screwed it straight, the arrows match up, the pipes are correct holes), i did everything by the haynes book. Now when i start it i think theres a very slow leak cause it doesn't start, but i go check the filter and it goes very slowly wet on top ( of gas), my car won't start at all. Now my fuel filter still doesn't have a perfect seal, i can't do nothing about that, i honestly tried for 7 hours yesterday, just taking it apart, applying pressure, thats why today i had to buy a 2nd fuel filter just in case. But even though it has a very slow leak, shouldn't it at least start up for a few seconds? i'm at my wits end here! i'lll buy gasket sealer and seal the damn thing up, but it'll prob just end up leaking some more. The hoses are good, if i tip them upside down gas flows out, the gas tank lid is unscrewed, the banjos are good, it perfectly round, the threads i put sealing tape on it ( i know its not good, but i just wanted to see if it at least starts up)

Certain Dri not working!?

I don't understand... I bought certain dri almost two weeks ago and I have been applying it every night just as the instructions tell you to. I sweat really bad and was almost sure certain dri would work because so many people say that it works wonders. Back in the days, Disney used to be mainly about cartoons. Now it's mostly teenage-oriented shows. Haha, I don't think it's just the military. I think a lot of wives feel the way you (and I) do. We feel that we could take better care of a "situation" if we were in our husbands' shoes. Believe me I feel the same way, I have a worse temper than my husband. However, that's just it. It is not "our" situation to fix. It is our husbands. Also remember that this is the military and they are men. They may not want to make the situation worse because it may/can lead to only one thing and that's a physical altercation. Hi, I m currently in the underworld where all the ghouls live. I just bought Charon's contract from Ahzrukhal. I went to tell Charon and then as soon as I told him that he was mine now he said "really? Hold on a second, let me take care of something." He walked over to where Ahzrukhal was standing, I figured he would kill him, but then just stopped. Ahzrukhal then walked over behind his bar and stood still over there. Now they are both just standing in these spots and I can't interact with them at all. They don't talk to me or anything, just stand there. I can't even open up the bar menu... Im not any doctor or anything, but i know what your going through, i am 25 years old, i went through the same thing but from grades 6-9, i am also a heavy set guy it was constant toture from 3 kids i went to school with, they would always shove me talke me to the ground, punch me in the face arm leg neck groin, and kick too, i would also get threatened to do things for them, and alway cause physical harm, i once spent 2 days in the hospital for a broken wrist cause one of the kids hit me with a baseball bat "accidentally" but had a huge smirk on his face it was hell for me, i am sorry for what the did, i never wanted to leave the house after the first few months of being bullied, my parents would have to drag me out of the house, i was a affriad to tell anyone, but one day when i was in 9th grade ill never forget this, this was the last straw, ill never forget his name, and i hate him for the rest of my life, this kid bobby saw me walking to bathroom one day during a school period i walked in the bathroom and was using the urinal, i didn't notice it was bobby till i feel to the ground in pain, he had kicked me in my lower back while i was peeing i was in pain ask my groin had hit the back of the urinal hard, after i was on the floor i looked up to notice him again and kicked me straight in the groin, i guess you could say i got lucky, but i guess a ping student heard a comotion in the bath room, came in and saw me on the ground in tears, tell him to leave me alone, he ran to a teacher and yelled, as the teacher was coming in to the bathroom he say bobby kick me repeaditly (2-3 times i think) in the stomach, and immeaditly pulled him off of me and said your in alot of trouble, the principal come up say what happend called for an ambulance and the authorities, i was crying and in severe pain, as i was in the hospital room, i told my parents, the teachers, and the police everything and how long the abuse was going on, my parents figured out then thats why i never wanted to go to school, i pressed charges on bobby, and he went to juvinelle hall for 6 monthes which he got what he deserved and realized what he was doing was not ok and constantly during the hearing apoligizing to me crying saying how bad he felt, which i never beleived it, and the other 2 kids were expelled from school, it was a releif to see something being done, well what happend was i went to see a psychiatrist, which was a life saver for me, i saw him twice a week for about 7 months, he helped me out so much, and made me feel great and good about myself, and told me to find something i loved to do, well i started taking self defense cles after that all happend, i mean i still cringe and tear up when i think of that day it was hard and is still hard but i don't let it bother me, after all this i graduated 5th in my cl, was a central m all star pitcher my senior year, and haven't seen bobby since he went to juvinelle hall, id say for you sake as you seem to be getting it worse then i did, but id say go see a psychiatrist and tell them everything, talking about it to people and getting advice is very helpful, and can almost save you, it saved me and also doing the self defense cles i explained to my teacher what had happen to me and he was disgusted with all that happend, and helped me out teaching me self defense, and most important of all self confidence and pride, to this day i am still doing my self dense (kenpo - ju jujisto) and i am 2nd degree black belt and teaching karate at the school i started in, i feel like i can make a diffirence in some kids lives that are going through the exact thing as i did, to see kids in middle/high school learning the values we teach in karate is great, im not teaching them to go out and hurt people but better yet to avoid fighting, and if you can't that you know how to protect your self, but i am sorry for your pain and torment those kids have being doing to you, but i say still persue the authorities with those kids, i know that they just ped an anti-bulling law in my state which now the bully any age can be tried as an adult depending on the severity of the case , but some advice from me to you, stay as far as you can even if it means changing school, but see a psychiatrist it will help, it helped me and many other people, they are safe and will never hurt you, i hope everything goes well for you, i sincirely hope your ok, and i hope i gave you that push to go get help...

6 week old puppies dewormed and now have diarrhea and worms in their stools!?

Hi, I have a puppy that will be 6 weeks on wednesday, and another puppy that is turning 6 weeks today. The reason I have them so young, is that I found them in a box on the side of the road, and have been bottle feeding them since they were 2.5 weeks old. Yesterday, we went to the vet and we were given dewormer. The younger puppy had half a tablet yesterday, and in 10 days he'll get another half, and the older puppy got a full tablet and will get another full tablet in 10 days. The older puppy now has diarrhea, and a little bit of red in her stool, it doesn't look like blood, as it's almost too dark and congealed. The younger puppy has diarrhea, threw up a little bit of the food he ate, and a few minutes ago he had awful diarrhea that had a long spaghetti type worm in it. I know it's normal for them to have diarrhea or parasites in their stools after they've been dewormed, but is the redness normal? I guess am I right in thinking all of this is normal? I'm very very overprotective of my babies, and just want to make sure that they're okay! Thanks so much in advance!
