Are Americans as a nation more selfish than Britons?

I don't know about the Americans but I think that the British are so generous. They even fill the hospitals with foreigners who have contributed nothing while their own people are patiently waiting for a bed. I mean, how generous is that. They have even been known to use donated body parts for rich foreigners whilst their own people are on a list. Yes the British really are generous.
