Why is there no archeological evidence of roots of Hinduism (>4,000 years or older)?

Hinduism is linked to Indo-European settlers who arrived from present day Baltic states, however, there is very little archeological evidence along the way, similar to evidence of Christianity, and other religions? Just curious.
