Rome to Sorrento by bus and travel sick...?

im going to Rome w/ the school in early Feb and we are staying in rome for 3 days and then traveling to sorrento stopping twice in Pompei and Vesuvius. in estimation how long would it take by bus to get from Rome to Sorrento ignoring the two stops?and also would any one reccomend remedies for travel sickenss as im not fantasic at traveling but im really excited about the trip!i live in Ireland so even products from UK will do i already take sea legs which ar egood but amm idk! If any one can answer either Q i would be very happy!!!!!!
